Delta Plan Frequently Asked Questions

1. When does my Delta Plan billing start?

Billing begins immediately upon enrollment.

Your subscription renews monthly on the same calendar date. Charges continue automatically unless canceled according to the plan terms.

You may manage or cancel your subscription through your account portal.

2. Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes. The Delta Plan includes a 3-month minimum commitment.

If canceled before the first three months are completed, the remaining balance of the initial term will be charged and the subscription will then end.

After the initial commitment period, the plan becomes month-to-month.

3. How do filter shipments work?

Filter shipments are automatically triggered based on:

  • System-monitored filter life
  • Pressure and usage data
  • Municipal contamination updates

Manual reordering is not required.

If local contamination data changes and a different filter pack is recommended, you will be notified.

Shipment timing is best-effort and may vary slightly due to logistics or data updates.

4. Do I have to remember when to replace my filters?

No.

The Nexxus system continuously monitors filter performance. When replacement is required, Delta Plan fulfillment is initiated automatically.

The purpose is to eliminate guesswork and reduce premature or delayed replacements.

5. What is included with the Delta Plan?

While your subscription remains active, the following are included at no additional cost for normal wear and maintenance:

  • Replacement batteries
  • O-rings
  • Sump wrench

These items have no cash value and are provided as a benefit of active participation.

6. What happens if I cancel?

After the first three months, you may cancel at any time.

Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing cycle. No additional charges will occur after cancellation.

Shipments already processed cannot be recalled.

7. Can I change or upgrade my filter pack?

Yes.

If contamination conditions change or you prefer a different level of protection, your filter configuration can be updated.

Delta Plan subscribers may be notified automatically when updated data indicates a different filter pack may be appropriate.

8. What happens if I move?

Contact support prior to relocating.

Your filter pack recommendations may need to be reassessed based on the contamination profile of the new municipality.

9. Is the Delta Plan required to use Nexxus?

No.

The Nexxus system operates independently. The Delta Plan enhances automation, monitoring benefits, and long-term filter management.

10. Does the Delta Plan guarantee water quality or health outcomes?

No.

The Delta Plan provides monitoring, filter automation, and contamination insight based on:

  • Publicly available EPA/ECHO data
  • System sensor data

It does not guarantee specific contaminant levels, water quality results, or health outcomes.

Why the Delta Plan Exists

Water conditions and usage patterns change. Fixed replacement schedules do not.

Traditional filter subscriptions rely on preset intervals, regardless of actual system performance or municipal updates.

The Delta Plan aligns filter replacement with:

  • Monitored system performance
  • Real-world usage
  • Public contamination data

Its purpose is to reduce uncertainty, prevent unnecessary replacements, and simplify long-term system ownership.

Manual Replacement vs. Delta Plan

Manual Replacement:

  • Fixed schedule
  • Guess-based timing
  • No contamination alerts
  • Requires manual tracking and reordering

Delta Plan:

  • Data-informed timing
  • Municipal contamination monitoring
  • Automatic shipment
  • Included maintenance components

The Delta Plan is optional. It is designed to optimize performance and simplify ownership.
